Barry and Claudia's wedding

Well, Barry "Waar is you hoed" Snyders has managed to impress all males everywhere with his remarkable skill at managing to avoid the nefarious "when are you getting married" questions for 13 years, eclipsing G Myburghs record by quite some time!

But at last the silly banana saw sense, proposed to Claudia and I was delighted to attend their wonderful wedding. I was also particularly delighted to be able to slap the priest in the face during the service, but in the priests own words, "I deserved that"

Here is the chapel. A really beautiful setting with glass walls, so we could all see Claudia arrive in her horse drawn carriage!
The Venue was Oakfield Farm in Muldersdrift (Gauteng). Barry's colleague from Cape Town phoned 2 days before to confirm he was coming, and had booked a night on the farm. However, it turns out he had booked a night on Oakfield farm near Muldersdrift in the Cederberg! So he couldn't get there in time in the end!

Barry tries to stay relaxed before the wedding, with Claudia's Dad.

Barry and Claudia's mom. Barry claims that this is the 1st time in his life he has worn a tie - I think excluding school days though!

Barry and his mom.

After the service. Curse that darn guy for getting his arm in the way!
What a lovely service it was - I have not seen a bride cry so much, and to me that's always the highlight of a wedding. Barry's mom put in a good effort too, and even myself and Barry were a bit teary.

You may now kiss the bride. . . again. Barry's dad is on the right.

Hoo-eee, Barry has a big family! Claudias representatives are the 4 on the left, while Bary's family extends to the right of the picture, but my camera could not fit them all in!

Flower girls and boy. Tatjana is on the left.

Wood Nymphs

Ah sweet!!! Claudia's nephew.
Well, weddings are all about the bride, so here we have some shots of Claudia looking gorgeous!

Good bye everyone!
