This Ole House

I heard that some work had been done on the house I spent most of my school years in, so I went to check it out. You have to admire the groundbreaking changes the new architects came up with!

Observe how our pool has taken on a natural desert environment! And the local community development programme got some of their most promising new street artists to decorate the entranceway in grand style!

The driveway has been converted to really get 4x4 enthusiasts talking!

Boet's room has had some ingeneous modifications done. Not only can he watch the stars at night while he sleeps, this room really lets in the sun, as well as allowing for maximum ventilation in the heat of the summer months.

As kids, we used to spend every new year sitting on the chimney watching the fireworks display.
A cunning modification has ensured that future generations can continue this tradition, while still enjoying the comforts of the luxurious living room.

In the property market, style and image is everything, and who wouldn't want to be the envy of the neighbours, relaxing in the plush front garden, watching the common plebians pass by.

Only you can make me laugh like that, Rust! Nice touch...
I'd like to use my poem and your view of the house as contrast in approach! Yours is much better.
