Lawrence of The Pooks and I decided to go and place some geocaches on one of the more challenging routes up the mountain, Kloof Corner.
At Kloof Corner, one of my favourite viewpoints in the cape.
MnCo came along for the ride, but after the stresses of the first chain, decided this was enough for him, so sadly he did not make it the rest of the way.
Lawrence and I enjoy some scenery on the way up.
At the cleft in the mountain, just before the real fun and games start.
Me heading up the second chain. A really scary and tall one!
Helloooo down there, come on up!
Getting closer.
Hooray, at the top at last! Well, of the second chain that is.
Lawrence shimmys up the vertical crack, with a massive drop on the side. Sadly it was here that his dear camera was killed, after putting his bag down in a puddle of water. When you are on the edge of a precarious drop, sometimes your options seem limited!
Some crazy buffoons fixing the power lines
Nearly at the top. Cable cars are for wimps!
Some lovely Table Mountain scenery follows. Enjoy!

Well done, great pics. i love the one of you at the cleft. I think Kloof COrner is one of the walks you took me on and I freaked out on one of the longer chains. The views make it look well worth it though.
yes, thats the one! I remember how much you enjoyed those heights!
