SIlly Buggers
I went to Zsizso's birthday party with Zsuzsi and Dora (those Hungarian names!), and despite being the only non-Hungarian at the party, had a great time.
Here we are playing silly buggers with glasses and hats.

The Legend
Kathy Legend came down from Scotland on her way back to SA, and I was lucky enough to steal some of her time!

Hanging out at Richmond
Lovely old staircase

Kathy attempts a Myburgian leap from the chair, but it doesn't quite work out!
The flowers were in full force, as you can see below.

Drowning flowers
Mmm, Dragonfruit from Thailand. not as nice as I recall, but still interesting

Hermanus
I went away for the last weekend with the usual crowd to Onrus.
We visited the Hermanus farmers market, and listened to some delightful Marimba tunes. Here Dana does her best Forrest Gump impression. Life is like a tub of cheese and olives - a bit smelly and sharp sometimes, but tasty once you take a bite.
Dassie lunchtime - while he was eating his grass, we were eating blue cheese chocolates. Hmmm, think I'd rather have the grass!
Warren and I find a cache.

Some Hermanus scenery
We stayed at a house on Vermont vlei, which I have never seen before. Here are some flamingos on the vlei

Bakoven
We saw this bunny and his mate hanging out at a parking lot in Tableview!
Mushrooms in the forest
Ah, sweet romance in the forest!
errr, wooden fire extinguishers in the forest! Just throw on the fire to put it out!
Dad, Koob and I popped down to visit Dave's mom, Muriel, for some of her delicious burgers anhd calamari in Hout Bay. Yum!
African ingenuity - a lift that goes sideways!
Angela came along for an exciting day hunting gold and geocaches. We didn't find gold, but we did find the cache, after many fiendish clues!
Where is that clue now?Thursday, 18 June 2009
