Carved totem pole thingys at the castle
The Castle also has some birds of prey hanging around. They do shows with everyone dressed up in medieval garb, but timing was wrong for that.
This is where we stayed in Varenna, in those town housey buildings near the top left of picture.
We went to visit a villa along the waterfront, kown for its lovely gardens
Some of the tress in the area have really interesting bark, seen here covering our local booze boutique, 27m²
