Schlugsee

oops, seems I never put the final days hiking in Germany up!
After the hike up Feldberg, I took a hike around Schlugsee, a much larger lake than Titisee.
Again, I got to do a fair portion in the rain, but luckily the trees covered it for a while.

 Fishing on the lake

I really loved this house and its garden - wouldn't mind living there.

 Thanks for the warning!

The entry to the hike - Jagersteig.

Most of the hike was heading up through the forest up the hills surrounding the lake. They just seemed to keep going up and up - so much for a gentle stroll around the lake!

At last, reaching a clearing with a drizzly view of the lake.

Lobely butterfly resting on my bag.

 Hunters observation towers

Back to the lake for a walk in rain along the beach - I enjoyed the proper beachy crunchy sand feel.
