Royal National Park, Sydney, day 1

After Melbourne it was off to Sydney to visit Graeme for a week. Litttle did I know that every day would be a hiking day!
We started off doing a 2 hike along the coast of the Royal National Park. It was great to be able to take a train 1 hour outside Sydney right to the start of the hike!

 All ready for action!

The first half of the day was walking mostly through a forest, where I got to witness some of the local Fauna in their natural habitat - ie. Myburgh taking photos!

Eventually we emerged to the cliffs, with spactacualr views, and a fair amount of lizards too, before heading down to the coast.

This figure of 8 pool was really spectacular, and a pleasant spot for a refreshing dip!

Awwww sweet! I am talking about Graeme above, not the wallaby below :o)

At our campsite we were joined by a friendly swamp wallaby, who would hang around and try raid our food. They are called stinkers, because appparently they stink when cooked!

Check out these vids of our dear friend, Mr Stinker
