Morrocco day 2

Second day of the tour, and more driving around looking at the various brown hues of Morrocco, interspersed with the omnipresent red flags.

We visited a local Oasis. Nice to see all the green for a change!

The women tend to tend to the fields in the oases, seen here watched over the the tough task-master heron.

aaahh cute!

Near the oasis is the old Jewish quarter, although I think the Jews have left by now!

In the Jewish quarter we visited a local berber house where they make carpets and such. I dare say, they were very nice carpets. Nicer than the Turkish and Persian if you ask me, although they did try some hard sale tactics on us, to no luck though!

Hmmm, mint tea, also known as Berber Whisky

Next up was a visit to Todra Gorge, a short but tall gorge where my poor mother was help captive in a hotel for a week!
