Zanny and I went to the Cotswolds for the weekend a while back. The Cotswolds are known as the place to go to experience quintessential charming old worlde England.

Our first day out, and first port of call was Stow-on-the-Wold. The towns here have great names! What is a wold anyway? Or a Stow for that matter?

The buildings here are alll made from very distinctive Cotswold stone

Zanny is a big church architecture buff, so we visited many churches. I loved the ceiling below.
