Vale of the White Horse

On the way home, we stopped off at the Vale of the White Horse, to visit the horse that inspired Tiffany Aching's white horse, and if you don't know who Tiffany Aching is, tsk tsk!

It was hard to get a proper view of the white horse, carved on chalk in the hill, as it kind of faced upwards, so I am not sure who it was made to be seen by? Here were are by the head.
