The Final Cut

The Final Cut is a great geocache in Sydney, which I attempted on my own, but after seeing the rickety ladder and the wet slippery rocks, thought I'd best not do it by myself.
So a few days later, and I was being picked up to 2 Ozzies from 2.5 hours out of Sydney to meet an American air steward for a joint raid on the cache.

View from above
Ignoring the DANGER sign, we climbed over the safety fence and headed down the gulley to coast level eager for a scary experience!

In the gully at the bottom

Russell "The Voucher" contemplates the ladder

Craig "code1" climbing up

There were some really cool cliff ledges on the hike, but not that scary.

Jon "JABs"

Some interesting rocks here too. This one looks like South Africa!

Can you see the guy standing near the top of the cliff fishing? He must have a really long line!

The team. Thanks to everyone for the great outing - It was good to meet some "genuine" Ozzies, compared to the soft city folk!
