Great Ocean Road - Apollo Bay

After Leaving Sydney, it was a quick stop over in Melbourne, before heading off for 3 days on the Great Ocean Road with Susie, who I met in Turkey 15 years ago, and havent seen her since! It was great to see her again after so long!

We stayed 2 days in Apollo Bay, in this lovely little cottage on the right.

Off exploring the tropical rainforest in the area. Some really impressive trees around here, and super ferns!

Woah buddy, watch where you put that tongue and your teeth!

Next we went walking along the Otway Forest canpoy walk. It was fun, but I had heard great things about it, but it was perhaps not as great as I had heard. Maybe one must do the zip line tour for the full fun.

Viewing tower - pretty darn high!

Taken from way up in the platforms - someone has dropped their brolly.

Next we did another forest walk to see the 3 sisters waterfalls, or something along those lines!
Old engine abandoned in the woods.
We did not have the beat weather in Apollo Bay itself, and hardly even got to step onto the beach due to the freezing powerful winds, so I don't seem to have much in the way of photos of Apollo Bay itself, but I liked these sculptures on the beach front.

Heading on from Appllo Bay, we encountered a typical Ozzie roadblock!

This could be Switzerland!

some nice processing on that towering tree with green moss. You're a natural!
