Orpheus in the Underworld

I just got from 2.5 weeks in Cape Town. And one one of the first things on my list to do was go and find the exciting geocache by Cism, Orpheus in the Underworld, in which you have to save Orpheuses beloved by venturing into an old tin mine on the slopes of Devils Peak. I joined up with 4GD and Mr Panda for the trip, on a scorching hot day! The team search for the first clue, gaurded by a vicious snake.
Heading to the entrance to the underworld.

At the entrance, one had to lock wills with Cerebus the 3 headed dog. Once deafted, a bold member of team 4GS heads into the tiny entrance.

Ow, you kicked dust in my eye!

Inside the underworld

Passing supplies in from above.

Wading through the partly flooded tunnels - super refreshing on hot feet, but some fools wore tackies!

Wow, nice beard, Mr Panda!

Aargh, these denizens of the deep guarded the final clue. How could we save the day now?

Hoooray, Mr Panda saved the day with his knowledge of the underworld and led us to safety and victory! The team celebrates being back in the sun.
