Flaines scenery

I have just got back from a weeks skiing in Flaines, in France.
What a wondeful week, and what fantastic scenery! We got a little bit of everything weather wise - sun, snow, blizzards, rain, cloud, allowing for many different experiences.

This post highlights the amazing scenery up in the mountains.

On the first day, Flaines was covered in clouds, and was a bit grey and miserable - but catching the cable car to the top of the mountain, we came out of the clouds, and the view aboce the clouds was incredible!

Skiing in near zero visibilty - not much to be seen here!

Flaine - famous for its 1950s communist concrete architecture!

 love that cloud!

2 crazy guys climbing up this mountain, no doubt to ski down some extremely dangerous off-piste route
