Geneva, Montreaux, Chamonix

The second day in Switzerland, Barry took us for a driver around Lake Geneva (it's massive) to Montreaux, and then over to Chamonix in France.

Can't recall if I blogged this fish from my previous visit to Geneva. If I did, well, here it is again!

Yep, more photos of Jet d'eau

 Fishermen down Montreaux way

We never actually stopped in Montreaux itself, although I did catch a glimpse of the famous Freddy Mercury statue as we drove through. This is a lovely castle we stopped at just past Montreaux. It's very photogenic, so please excuse all the photos below.

 Top height Boet, well done!

 More glamorous supermodelling

Dribing up the mountain pass to Chamonix. It sure was a spectacular pass with plenty of twisty roads, but Barry handled them like a champion!

In Chamonix now - this is a super cool chair!

Fondue alert! We ate so much cheese while in Switzerland, this fondue was the cheese that broke the camels stomach.

Chamonix sure does look good with all its flowers.

 Yum Yum Yum Yum Yum!!!
