Eggs of the Alien Queen

Last weekend I joined up with a group called Fire Hazard, who organise wild and crazy events, generallly involving monsters, guns and sometimes night vision goggles.
As a post Easter game, we went to Hamstead Heath to play Eggs of the Alien Queen. We split up into humans and aliens. The aliens had to hide their eggs around the play area and try to defend them, and the humans had to save mankind by retreiving all the eggs.
Some humans were space marines, who had guns, and could carry many eggs, but were only allowed to walk due to their heavy equipment. Other humans were scouts, who had no guns, and could only carry one egg, but could run.
The aliens would run at the humans and smack bite wounds on them. A scout is weak and would collapse injured to the ground after 1 bite, but the marines could handle 3-5 bites before getting injured.
All in all, a super time, and we all came away with many bramble wounds and aching bodies.
