Delft

A few weeks back I went to visit Alison in Rotterdam for a few days. As netherlands is so small, its pretty easy to get anywhere, with Delft being 10 minutes away on the train, so first day was a quick visit to  Delft.
The lighting was pretty grey and cloudy for photos, and we spent most of the time enjoying some beer and delicious bitteballe, so not many photos.

 It turns out it was Carnival while we were there, so we saw lots of people walking around in odd outfits, and we handily stumbled upon the parade.






The marching bands were really cool, and their funky rythmns set your feet a'tapping!
They also liked to take popular English songs and Dutchify them - I can see where the Afrikaans got their musical culture from
