Chamonix Vistas

After arriving at our ski-centre, we had a half day off before our ski lessons started. I thought I'd squeeze i my one geocache of the trip, and get up to see the view from the mountains.

Wow, check out the view! At cache site on top of Mount Brevent.

Chamonix was covered with cloud, and coming through the cloud out into the sun was a magnificent feeling.

Ski rack.

I love the fact that this guy had a nice soft snow drift to fall in!

Aguile de Midi. At 3900m I was reminded of the Andes, and struggled to run up a short flight of stairs without the old chest giving in and that claustrophobic feeling setting in.

Mont Blanc in the background, the highest mountain in Europe.

looks beautiful! Wasn't this where the Bond Movie "Oh His Majesty's Secret Service" was filmed?
