final ski batch

Last batch of ski pics, and back to dull old London life - hopefully I can go skiing in March again!

Richard - ultimate Mr nice guy!

My ski group attempts to ski off piste down a vertical slope about 2.5m high - as you can see we all failed miserably - I am on the left - Mike in the red fell flat on his face and struggled for ages to get up, while his dear nephew filmed his struggles for family gatherings - his face was red from the snow when he eventually got up - hilarious stuff!
When you fall down off piste, it really is difficult to get up in the deep snow, with your legs twisted under you, you can't move your legs, and when you try push yourself up, your hand just sinks into the snow - by the time you have managed to stand up, you are exhausted!

Ready to start a race - I did a fine job if I saw so myself!

 gorgeous slope, gorgeous views!

Mike skiing off piste - its super fun with snow up to your knees, but really difficult too.

The super fun route, ZiziPanpan, where you have to ski through 5 of these walls with shapes cut out - you have to make the shape as you ski through the hole.

Here is a video skiing through a tunnel - I got quite a surprise coming round a bend and having to shoot through this. Alas, my video of zizipan did not want to upload for some reason.

Wow, that video is very cool! Felt like I was doing it myself. Love the light at the end of the tunnel.
