Tignes 2

Some people said that one of the scenes in Goldeneye was filmed at this arch, but others said that was in the pynrenees - haven't been able to find any clip of it yet.

Doing Sache, a very thrilled and difficult black piste that I did by myself, while trying to find a geocache. Thin steep slopes and pretty icy, with a big drop of the edge - a real highlight of the trip, even though I did it really slowly.

 The steep end of Sache

Heading down to Tignes les Breviers

This was  a very rare chair lift, that you get to down in. It does up the mountain, reaches the peak, and then dips down like a roller coaster - pretty thrilling! Whenever I look at this photo, I think its upside down!

Our little village, Tignes val Claret - photo taken on the path over a frozen lake connecting Tignes le Lac and Val Claret - a lovely evening stroll

The swimming pool - they had a waterfall you can stand under, great for massaging pained shoulders, and the most confusing changing room / entrance system I have seen!

Snow plows off to mow the pistes

Geocaching off one of the pistes at very high altitude - hard work, but talk about a cache with a view!
