Mykonos

I got back from a week in Greece about 6 weeks ago, and am at last getting round to adding the photos!
We were spending a week on Paros, but I flew to Mykonos while Ian flew to Athens. I had about 2 hours to spend in Mykonos before catching the ferry to Paros.

 Ah yes, memories of my trip with Alison are coming back to me now!

 Within 30 minutes of arriving, I bumped into my old friend Pelican Pete!

 I asked some chap to take a photo of me here - we started chatting and it turns out he lives about 15 min walk from me! He has been coming to Mykonos every year for 30 years, but alas, this trip was to come and sprinkle the ashes of his friend who would always go with them.

 The last table was a great place for a drink / lunch - such amazing views from there!

 

 As I was taking the photo of this scene, this woman walked around the corner just as I took the photo, and I think she really adds to the scene with her funky pants and blue glasses.Pity I didn't get her email to send her a copy.
