Sri Lanka animals

There were lots of great animals we saw in Sri Lanka - its a great country for wildlife spotting, and that was without even going to a nature reserve!

 Bird in Kandy lake.

Kingfisher at Sigiriya

Massive Iguana in Kandy Lake - this things should come with a warning!

A Toque Macaque - these are to be found everywhere, and are easily recognised by their funky hairstyles! They are great at stealing food!

In the forest near Kandelama - amazing colours!

These are the Langur Monkeys, seen mainly around Kandelama - they are very shy, with interesting black faces, and super cool tails!

These super cute chipmunk squirrel type dudes were to be found at the Heritance Kandelama hotel, as well as in our room in Talalla Retreat.

 OW!

The smallest bat I have ever seen at the Heritance Kandelama hotel - compare the size next to the beetle.

 Camo crab

Iguana by the pool at Talalla Retreat
