I had a great holiday in Australia in October, spending some time in Melbourne with Boet, Mom and Jocelyn, and some time in Sydney with Graeme.
In Melbourne, Boet did a sterling job with his day-tripping tour guide skills, and first up, was a trip to Red Hill peninsula.
First we visited the Moonlight Sanctuary to go look at the kangaroos and other funky critters, like these weird plastic looking frogs!
And these funky looking lizards and skinks.
We spent a lot of time just hanging out with the kangas. They are so friendly and soft and cute, you can;t help but love them!
These were some interesting looking birds.
Awww, I think this was a red wallaby, although perhaps my memory fails me. Much more skittish than the kangaroos.
Yay, it's everyones favourite little bear-pig critters, the wombat! We were lucky to see some out in the day, although they were being pretty lazy hiding in theor pipes, like the slacker below!
Next was off to the coast for some lunch and a wee stroll along the pier. Can't seem to recall the name of the spot where we stopped though.
Quick stop for a cuppa tea at a local vineyard (yes, I'm turning British!)
Mom chats to the strangely 4 legged Jocelyn below!
